Heaving a heavy sigh, he carefully set the manila folder down on the podium. He had been going over the syllabus for the year, making sure everything was in order. The school year wasn't set to start for about a week, so he was getting the last minute touches ready for his class. Raking a slender, peach skinned hand through his mass of messy, choppy chin length sandy hair, he glanced around the room. It was spacious with sectioned off tables which were set for two students each. The floors were smooth linoleum and a lab was set up in the back of the room for when it was needed. The board itself was a white board with a projector installed in the ceiling. The room was filled with natural lighting from the large windows lining the white walls. Various pictures and posters lined the walls as well. It appeared to be a typical science classroom.
Forcing back a yawn, he shoved the heel of his hand into his right eye, rubbing the sleep from them. He wasn't a huge fan of getting up early. He never really slept well, it was something he really needed to work on. He ruffled his hair, pushing his bangs out of his eyes. He found his gaze trailing toward the windows. He wanted to go outside, but he had work to do. He moved closer to the window, resting against the wall and taking in the sunlight. He glanced toward his desk and frowned, he had a majority of his work finished. He just had to make some adjustments to the syllabus and check over his roster to see if any new students have been added that he must find room for. He jutted out his lower lip, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't want to do anymore work. This was a rarity for him since he usually was drowned in work. Though it was mostly only research. This minor stuff bored him.
Closing his eyes, he leaned into the rays of sun, letting his thoughts wander. He found that he could never stay still long enough and think on things too much without them turning to a certain someone. He began to wonder where Kazuki was. Surely he had to be in his own classroom, tying loose ends like Hiro was. He shrugged it off and looked out onto the campus. He casually toyed with the hem of his shirt, wondering what to do. He found himself glaring at the desk again. He heaved another heavy, bone weary sigh and trudged over to his desk. he picked up the packet of names that was his roster. He went over each and every one, making sure to take note of ones who have just been placed. The syllabus had been taken care of beforehand, so he just had to worry about this.
Nothing but tedious work that he'd rather shove onto someone else. He was never meant to sit still and if he did, it'd would have to be doing something he was interested in. He could sit for hours and just research various topics in his dorm. He found comfort in that despite the long hours he took and depriving himself of food and sleep. He absently placed a hand on his stomach. He could already tell he was losing weight, but he still appeared healthy. He had a slim, slender frame with enough muscle definition. He didn't have to worry just yet. He frowned, feeling his stomach begin to growl. He wanted to go out and eat. Maybe if Kazuki had some free time, they could head downtown for lunch. Speaking of the older man, Hiro paused in his movements as he heard a strange, but familiar sound. He carefully tuned into the sound, which he had grown used to and could pick up immediately.
An exasperated smirk graced his features as the familiar squeak of his best friend and lover's rolling chair echoed down the desolate hallway. The school was pretty much empty as teachers got ready for the year. The halls were practically barren and the sound bounced off the walls. He casually wandered over to the classroom door. He didn't have to look to know who was coming down the hall. It really never failed when it came to Kazuki. He smirked and gently shut the door, which he had left propped open. He quickly swept his arm, shutting the door and locking it. He timed it just enough to where the squeaking was the loudest and he was sure his friend was close to his room. He then stepped back and watched the door, waiting almost impatiently for what was about to play out. He couldn't help but tease his lover from time to time.

Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. BORED. Did I mention that I was bored? I was sitting there, twirling back and forth in my chair. My fox, my darling Inishi looked at me irritably with one eye. She was curled up o the edge of my desk, trying to sleep but I suppose the squeaking of my chair was annoying. Honestly I tuned it out for the most part, or was just oddly amused by the sound. In other words it didn't phase me in the least. My head dropped to the desk with a resounding thud and I groaned, from boredom not from pain though. Something that simple wasn't really enough to hurt me, especially since I did it multiple times every day. Inishi growled at me though, flicking her tail to smack my face and I grabbed it playfully. The little white and black fox yipped, standing up and stretching before pouncing my hand. She wrestled with it for a while, my boredom alleviated for the moment.
Of course it didn't last for long before I scooped up the now feisty fox who started to tug at the collar of my shirt. I'd had a brilliant idea. I mean I was finished for my work, I had my syllabus for my classes set up and read through. I had my attendance sheets. I had my plans for the first day, especially how to scare the kiddies. Of course, no doubt my reputation had already spread to the younger students and they were well armed to deal with Mr. Yoshida. I snickered a bit, grabbing Inishi and draping her over my shoulders.
"So my darling little friend, how about we go say hello to Hiro-kun?" I asked the fox who yipped happily and quieted down rather instantly. I laughed softly before leaning back into my chair and slowly pushing it down the rows of student desks and out into the hallway. I was upset and pleased with the distance between the classrooms Hiro and I had been assigned. They were far enough away I could stretch my legs enough while on the chair, however, the distance was also long enough I couldn't just sneak out of my classroom and turn the corner or look across the hall to see him, simply to reassure myself that he was still there. Why did I feel the need to check up on him? I really didn't understand, but he'd always been there for me for as long as I could remember and it felt odd when he wasn't around, like I wasn't whole. I paused, scratching the back of my head before shrugging. What did it really matter though?
I grinned rather stupidly when I saw his door was open and started trying to pick up a little more speed. I wondered absently if he was expecting me or something. I was also trying to make sure that I cleared the damn landing of the door. I always managed to tip over it, so my solution? More speed of course! In reality my thought process was wrong, something Hiro could no doubt give me a lecture on if I cared to listen compared to saaaay, kissing him or something like that. Things were not going to go as I planned though. At the last possible second I saw an arm reach out and close the door, in the same motion Inishi leaped from my shoulders to make me spin a bit as I crashed into the door, sliding just a little from the momentum.
I whined a bit, sliding onto my knees, looking into the window where I could see my beloved Hiro. I reached for the handle, pouting when I discovered it was locked and started to pout. Perhaps not the most appealing look I could give, but it did smart a bit to go crashing into the door, as I pawed at the handle like some pathetic little puppy. "Hiiiiiiiroooo-kuuuuuuuuuuun, lemme in prease!" I tried to smile a little bit. "I just wanna hold you, and hug you and kiss you all over!" I couldn't help it now. I broke into a wide grin, especially when my little Inishi started to paw and whine at the crack of the door, begging to be let in. "And Inishi wants to lick you!" I added after a moment, before settling down a little, looking over him carefully, almost like I was trying to see if anything had happened to him in the rather short time we'd been separated. I was pleased to note nothing of consequence so smiled ever so sweetly again. "Prease Hiro-kun?" Of course I was quite literally begging. I didn't like something so little as a door to block my access to him, but at the same time he was no doubt playing a game. A game I was more than happy to play along with too. I just wanted to make my beloved Hiro happy after all.

Hiro had played this game before. He was used to pranking his lover in such a way. They had that kind of relationship where they would try to outdo each other prank wise. She tried to hide the amused laugh as she caught sight of Kazu and that cursed rolly chair. He had only got a quick glimpse before he had pulled the door shut. Now he had to just wait and let the entertainment come to him. He knew his lover was intelligent, but some things he wasn't the most bright at. One being physics. He was sure the reasoning was to go as fast as possible and maybe, just maybe he would finally clear the door stop. Oh yes, his lover's one nemesis, was the door stop. He refused to go anywhere without that chair and would hit the door stop and go flying when he hit the metal strip keeping the door closed.
He didn't have to wait long, because right as he stepped back the resounding thump of his love hitting the wooden door rang out. Hiro had to cover his mouth to keep from outright falling into hysteric laughter. Cloudy green orbs lifted to the small window in the door, where Kazuki had pressed himself against. Hiro's eyes widened at the scowl on his lover's face. That won't do at all. It didn't look good on his lover's face. He'd have to change that. He casually moved closer to the door, placing a hand on the door beside the window. He smirked as he heard the doorknob rattle. He had locked it for a reason. He bit his lip to keep in his laughter as he heard Kazuki whine and plead to be let in. Hiro felt his right eyebrow actually twitch at the mention of the black and white furball his lover called a pet. The one bane of his very existence...aside from things of the supernatural.
A small blush had the decency to steal the bridge of his nose as Kazuki spoke of wanting to hug, hold and kiss him all over. He bit his lip a little harder. He then pressed against the door and tilted his head. He sent what he hoped was a teasing, seductive look at his best friend and lover. "Rearry, Kazu-sama? You want to hug me, hold me, and what was that? Kiss me all over? Now, this isn't the prace for that kind of thing. Though I'm feering particurary naughty. Maybe you could assist me with that." He purred out, teasingly. His face was still lit up with a surely noticeable but light blush. He grinned and placed his hand on the window, where his lover's face was pressed. He curled his fingers in and gave him a longing look.
"Though I wourd appreciate it if you reft that annoying ball of fur back at your room." He spoke up after a moment, his face set in one of his rare serious glares. He found the creature to be a nuisance when he wanted to be left alone. He couldn't find it in himself to really hate the fox, just be completely annoyed by her. He wasn't exactly comfortable with having a fox around his Nyx. Birds and foxes didn't mix well. "If you reave Inishi back at your room, maybe we courd have a rittle fun." He spoke up after a moment. He tilted his head in a coy fashion and pushed off the door. He smirked and waited for a reaction. He'd only open the door if Kazu did as he said. He then looked up at Kazuki with his best puppy dog eyes and gave his best coy smile. "Prease?"
