Family was a big ordeal with Laine. Since he had started working and moving about he hadn’t had much contact with his folks. He had however found out that he had a younger cousin relatively close to him, as in the same town. She was into the horse scene, which gave credit to why she decided to move here. The all famous schools. Laine thought it would be nice to visit and possible catch up with her, Chasity Mirana. Laine fired up is two wheeled machine outside the hotel he was currently staying at. Flicks of the wrist warmed and readied the engine for work. With a swift kick his bike was moving fluidly out of the parking lot and into the street. His body was decorated in lighter jeans, contrary to his usual dark jeans, and an emerald shirt that was just few shades off from his eyes. Sleek black shades curved elegantly around his face and over his ears. His hair was a little more styled today than ritual. A minute hand of moose when he got out of the shower gave it a nice yet relaxed style. The short ride to the girl’s campus was enjoyed as Laine found himself weaving a little and relishing in the nice wind. Laine slowed the bike as he entered the campus. As he scanned the horses he had realized that he never got into the whole equestrian thing. He’d rather have a steel horse between his legs, more controllable. And Laine was partial to control. He slowed and parked his bike in an appropriate spot, but between the two pick-ups, his bike became invisible. As always,Laine meticulously straightened his shirt and jeans, doing a once over of himself, consciously approving. Turning rhythmically with his walk he scanned the entranceway of a good size building. He didn’t know the dorms from the functional class buildings. To prevent walking into a building he didn’t need to be in, he opted for the courtyard to roam in, waiting until he spotted another soul to ask for directions.

Outfit- www.polyvore.com/untitled_92/set?id=67100309It was a clear and cool school day. Most of the students were in classes, and a few were on break and studying for tests. She was done was teaching classes for the time being, but she had a few coming up later that afternoon. She ran her fingers through her hair, and pulled it back into a ponytail, and lowered her shades over her face as she walked around the campus. Her heels digging into the pavement as she walked around the dormitories, and the academic buildings. The birds of the season were singing, and the colored leaves littered the grass, and pavement. She was stopped by some of her jumping instructors, and was given some recommendations for some students to take to an up coming show. She looked at their files, and read their information. Four seniors were guaranteed a spot on the team, and a few lower class-men were next in line. One of them was Chasity Mirana. Inside, Nora was smiling. Since coming to RRA, Chasity was shown great promise and was working under Nora. She wanted to tel her before it was announced. She thanked them, and walked away and held the files in her hands. She saw a young man get off a bike, and look around. First of all he was trespassing, and she didn't recognize him. Her body tensed and she walked towards him, " May I help you, you look lost," she said.

Laine was preoccupied digging through his phone while walking when the woman would have become visible to him. As he was searching to Chasity’s number – it had seemed he had lost it, or misnamed it. A barely audible curse escaped his lips. His hands nimbly flipped the phone downward and escorted it deep into his jean pocket. His glance returned forward about the time this slender woman was approaching him. His green eyes did a pure search up and down her, although this look was more habitual rather than in an effort to scope her body. Luckily, his shades covered any criminal act his eyes performed. Laine couldn’t deny, the woman was very attractive, she was older than he was – but he liked. A relaxed but quick hand rose to elevate his glasses from his eye to rest upon his head. Laine kept his jaded eyes on hers, giving a welcoming small smile. The woman had a little bit of a hasty tone behind her voice and her body language seconded the thought. The smile Laine shifted to was in an effort to show her he truly meant no harm. “ Yes ma’am, please. “ Oh, the manners and chivalry this boy could pull when he wanted or needed. He kept his wide eyes soft and his lips in a welcoming smile. His body language relaxed hoping it would be contagious. He licked the inner of his lips and rolled them inward – the bike ride drying them out a bit. “Obviously I have no idea where I am at, or need to go. I just followed the signs. I’m actually looking for my cousin, heard she moved here recently..” Laine’s words were quick to offer his explanation, but not rushed as to convey panic. Habitually his hand rose to lightly rub his thumb across his freshly shaved jawline. He liked it better when there was a little stubble, something to actually rub against. It just felt odd rubbing against fresh skin. Therefore his hand dropped back to his side. His eyes still gazing at the woman, taking in more of her facial features, than her body’s. Then it hit him, the woman would probably need to know your cousin’s name. She looked more like a staff here than a student, especially with the files in her hand. Dumbass, he rolled his eyes at himself and then offered up the information. “.. Oh, .. her name is Chasity. Chasity Mirana. He felt a little foolish now, but nothing he couldn’t recover from. His form stayed gentle and waiting. Weight distributed evenly among both legs let him stand straight and tall. His eyes seeming to be a bit brighter thanks to his shirt that reflected and complemented their colors.

Nora looked at him and put her hands on her hips, and if there's one thing she did not tolerate and it was trespassers. She had the safety of her students, and the horses that she had come to care for to think of. She did not need some punk on a bike to come and cause trouble to come and cause danger or harm. She looked at him and then his bike. She knew guys like him, mostly they traveled over, and never settled anywhere. She was a homebody and liked to have a place to call home, and feel comforted.
She heard him say that his cousin's name was Chasity Mirana, and her eyes perked up and her body straightened. Was this Laine Majei? Speak of the devil! Chasity had spoken of him from time to time, but she never actually met him before. Well, let's see how he does on first impressions. " Chasity is here, I believe right now she is at the stables in the middle of a lesson. You must be her cousin Laine. I'm Nora, I run this place."

Laine could feel the thick tension between the two. He tried to keep his body tone relaxed and nonthreatening. However he was a bit relieved when the feeling lightened and the pretty lady in front of him related. What luck he had; first stranger he met walking around and she ran the place and knew Chasity. Not to mention she wasn't bad on the eyes either. Be a gentleman Laine. A greeting smilie spread his lips, and an outstretched arm was offered to her. Peace settling. Laine kept his weight even between legs. Staying straight and his best gentle and professional stance. His face had a slight downward angle since he kept his emerald eyes on hers. His kept up his easy smile and friendly features as he spoke. "I would be. It's nice to meet you Nora. You have a nice place here. It's impressive. " He separated his eyes and rotated his head to take a look around, actually taking in the environment. It was a pretty incredible place. Laine didn't know much about this lifestyle, but it wasn't something he despised. As he thought of further conversation topics his eyes searched and found hers again. He wanted to see Chasity, and wouldn't mind spending the time with this professional woman until then. Usually Laine didn't find himself in company of such high standing women. Not to say he just hung out with the trash, he was far to picky for that - but women like her were usually tied down. His eyes scattered down her arms, analyzing her hand. Hm, not banded. Green eyes wandered back to her face. It occurred to him that she knew his name before he mentioned it. It made him ponder what other things she had known. He hasn't been in town long, surely he didnt have some reputation. Laine came to the conclusion that Chasity must have mentioned him. He knew Chasity didn't know he was in town, therefore she must have just generally spoke of him. Laine and Chasity weren't super close, but Laine treated his family golden so he knew she couldnt know anything too terrible. " I guess Chas must have mentioned me. Hopefully all good." His tone had a joking ring to it and it transferred nicely to his lips. The sun was bright this particular day, it gave a nice illuminate shine. Including adding its shimmer off her face and hair. Laine's eyes temped to dance around her features, yet he kept his composer and remained proper in her presence.

Okay, so far so good on first impressions. " Thank you Laine, Rosedale RA will be ten years old next week. This property was actually owned by my great uncle. The plantation home over back behind us on the hill is the only original building on the property," she said giving him a short history lesson. If he wanted the full history lesson, he could go to Gibbs Hall and get an information brochure. She reached forward and gently touched his hand and shook it when he offered it. She looked into his eyes, and she tried to not get hooked on them. She knew guys like him when she was growing up. Just from looking at him, not to mention how he was eyeing her body, yep he was a heart breaker for sure.
Maybe it wasn't fair that she was judging him like this, but she was watching his eyes, and the way he looked at her. She let go of his hand, and bit her lip and looked down. Not to make it look awkward, she gestured for them to take a walk. " Well how about we walk and talk. I actually need to make some rounds around the campus, and then I can show you to barn. Chasity hasn't said much about you. Don't worry, they're not degrading. She said that you're like a nomad. Not really staying in one place at a time."
She continued to talk on and folded her hands in front of her, and felt she had no ring on. She wished she had one on, so incase he happened to try and hit on her or make a smooth move.

Emerald eyes tried to stay pleasantly on her features and eyes. Not keeping a stern eye contact and become to invasive, but letting eyes be loose and easy. Laine’s hands returned to his hips and hand slid halfway into his pockets. His straight stature remained. He turned slightly to look around when she mentioned the old plantation house. He tried to give her as much attention as possible and be an adequate listener. His legs set into motion at her notion for a walk around. “I’d be happy to join you. He walked by her side, not to closely but in an appropriate one to two feet distance. He grinned a bit when she mentioned him being a nomad. He wasn’t so much a nomad as a traveling worker. His job used to call for him to be gone two weeks at a time before returning. It was true he had never really settled down, but there were more reasons other than him just not wanting to. No one had ever been a desire to settle down. Laine was a people person, he didn’t like to hurt them but some people become attached to easy. They expect too much. He didn’t feel like he needed to plead his case, but at least defend himself. “Chasity was young when I lived near her. I used to work on the oil rigs off shore. It required me to be gone for a couple weeks, then come home. It was a mean cycle. I’m a little more decent now I guess. What about you, how did you get into horses?” A gentle summer breeze ran between Laine’s sleeve and arm. It was a nice breeze, just enough to keep the heat from biting so hard. Laine kept his sights ahead, looking at the architecture around them rather at her now. He had thought he sensed her a little uncomfortable.
