Stretching once more the twenty-four year old killed the engine and hopped out along with her dogs. Bella had planned to take her horses and dogs out on a trail ride. Both horses earned it and both loved the water which was right where they were headed. Walking into the barn immediately the dogs took their place outside the barn and waited while the gelding and mare stuck their heads out of their stall. "Hi guys, you wanna go on a ride?" The equines' ears pricked upwards as in a positive response. Making a snap decision as to how would be ponying who, Gunner. Although he was the one who wasn't good with the idea of a trail it would be easier to control him if he got out of hand. Walking to the tack room Bella collected Reese's halter and Gunner's tack. Slipping the cross's halter on the woman slung the llead rope over her neck and went off to Gunner's stall. Tacking him up quickly he wasn't a pain in the neck to get ready. Patting his neck she opened the stall door the whole way and led him out. Collecting the mare she moved the duo outside and pushed herself up into the gelding's saddle. “Bullet, Rylee c’mon we’re going for a walk.” The boxer puppy ran like a bullet from a gun, in which is name was intended. The other mutt took her place as she did many times on the other side of Reese. Making sure the leadrope was fairly secure to the horn of the saddle she looked at the mare standing next to her, "You ready girl?" this would give the mare a good wake up call for the class that the day held. Giving her mount a gentle kick they walked at an extended walk towards the lake trail. Once they were on the way Bella started seeing signs to tell her they were going the right direction. - - - - - - - - - - what happens when life ends, and when you think you’re coming back againi’d tell everyone, but no one would believe it, if i could have a beer with jesus - - - - - - - - - - WORDS``: 342 STATUS``: put it here~ TAGGED``: laine majei OUTFIT``: hurr NOTES``: hope this works : ) LYRICS``: beer with jesus by thomas rhett CREDIT``: this template was made by the amazing TAYLYNOSAURUS REX! of caution 2.0. if you erase this credit && she finds out then she'll either come && steal all your cookies or send you to the realm of eternal tickling: your choice.[/sub]

Time:9:00 A.M. Laine had needed a small break from the city. His intended destination was the park, or just some place with a little more peace. On his route to the park he saw a sign for a lake, figured it was better than the park. He didn’t want to deal with kids if there were any at the park. Perhaps the lake offered swimming; that was always a winner. He had mounted his horse, his steel horse, and set off. It wasn’t too early in the morning, just enough for the sun to start its heat spell on the ground. Ten minutes later Laine was stretching his leg back over the bike. He leaned the beast into a lean stand position on a solid piece of bank by the lake. Laine had a bit of a headache, but he was hoping the advil he swallowed before coming down would go to work shortly. As a result his eyes squinted even behind his dark sleek shades. His hand came up to salute at his forehead to block the sun. Laine started his stroll down to the lake, coming within feet of the water’s edge. He early plopped down as he took a seat and stretched into a comfortable laying position. He eyed his surroundings quickly, then dug deep in his pockets, searching. Ah, ha. His conscious gleefully cheered. He had remembered his cigarettes before leaving the hotel. He proceeded to light the toxic roll. Habitually it fit between two fingers and routinely brough to his mouth. Laine began playing with the smoke he exhaled. It was simple and immature fun, but it was amusing at the time being. Besides, he had come here to relax and do his own thing. He stayed streatched on the ground, his legs angled up. His knees pointig toward the sky, shades blocking the sun. Ears were filled with the sounds of the life of the pond. Laine didn't care to look around anymore, figuring he would hear someone before they got to close.

The mare continued to stay beside her friend as if her owner didn’t even do anything different. ”Good mare.”, she said as they turned a corner and the lake immediately appeared. Leaning over and grabbing the rope to hold her horse, as she saw a motorcycle just standing there. Bella’s expression harden as she looked around. Gunner spotted the man on the ground before she did and he jumped. ”It’s alright boy.” Reaching up and patting his neck to reassure him. Letting Reese walk away to lake, the mare always did love the water. As for the equine that was under her, Bella hopped down and loosen his cinch. Saying nothing to the man, she raised her eyebrow as she caught the sight of the cigarette. The twenty-four year old couldn’t stand the smoke from them and her horses didn’t exactly favor them either. Taking the saddle and its pad off she sat the saddle on the ground and walked the gelding over to the water. Letting him take a drink, her eyes wandered over to the man a couple of times, wondering how he felt about the horses moving about. The mare in the water was wise as she said close enough to the bank where her knees showed above the water line. Holding Gunner’s reins in one hand Bella took a deep breath. - - - - - - - - - - what happens when life ends, and when you think you’re coming back againi’d tell everyone, but no one would believe it, if i could have a beer with jesus - - - - - - - - - - WORDS``: 256 STATUS``: done TAGGED``: laine majei OUTFIT``: hurr NOTES``: sorry it is really short. Laine was enjoying the serene milieu of the lake. The absence of other’s presence gave the illusion that he was safe to think openly without withholding emotions from usual passive features. The cancer stick acted as a relaxant as it was inhaled and absorbed. Odd how such a thing can bring so much pleasure, yet cause havoc on the inside. The irony was twofold. The soft sounds of the environment had enhanced many senses. The atmosphere became more than just an ignored scent; it was currently a toxic screen because of the smoldering cigarette. All other senses increased positively. Laine was still able to find partial beauty in the natural environment. The soft ripples of the water signaling of unseen life forms near. A barely passing zephyr synchronously swayed the tall weeds surrounding parts of the lake. All these actions caused a constant but barely audible orchestra of nature. Laine watched all in pattern; his mind venturing randomly from topic to topic. The quiet scene revealed the sounds of intruders early before their actual appearance. Laine casted his emerald eyes in the direction. Soon the woman and her two companions were pressing into the water’s edge. The smoldering drug finally came to its burn out. Laine tossed the left over into a nearby receptacle bin. He stood his position and pulled his jaded eyes back to the lake’s reflecting water. The sound of the horse entering the water was too tempting not to look. He watched as the horse caused ripples across the pool. How nice the water must feel. His attention stayed amused by the satisfied horse for several minutes. It was actually a bit longer until Laine flashed his eyes toward the owner of the animals. His head gave a slight downward tilt. Lips displayed a small casual smile in attempt of social acceptance. Right hand dug into his pocket where he retrieved and began to peel open a piece of gum. Yes, Laine smoked; he couldn’t stand the smell of smoke on his breath though. His wrapper became another contribution to the trash before his eyes pulled back toward the female. Finally he was willing to break the scene’s previous silence and speak, “They’re pretty.” Maybe could have been something more snazzy or original. Laine wasn’t in that mood. He figured just some sensible stranger to stranger interaction would be fine currently. His eyes kept juggling between the horse in the water and the female, allowing easy eye contact in case she fetched for more contact. Sorry short. :\

The two dogs that had slipped her mind waded their way through the water out to Reese. Their tongues were lolling out as they bounced around in the lake. Gunner nudged his owner and blew air into her ear. With hearing the compliment from the man that was still there Bella turned and let a smile flash across her face. "Thank you." With all honesty she really didn't want to take the conversation any further. She wasn't a people person but of course they didn't know that. Putting on a more permanent smile and took a full survey of the man. At this time he was standing, the twenty-four year old's eyebrow arched upward. Keeping a safe distance between herself and the man, she led the gelding up onto the bank and tied his reins to a branch. With a long whistle Bullet and Rylee flew out of the lake with all the speed they could gather with the water clinging to them. "Reese c'mere." The mare lifted her head and slowly but surely made her way to the bank. Grabbing the lead rope Bella repeated what she did to the crossbred of a horse. Now that both equines were safely on the bank the twenty-four year old sat looking out onto the water. Making sure the man didn’t move any closer or speak again, in which meant she would have to reply. - - - - - - - - - - what happens when life ends, and when you think you’re coming back againi’d tell everyone, but no one would believe it, if i could have a beer with jesus - - - - - - - - - - WORDS``: 249 STATUS``: done TAGGED``: laine majei OUTFIT``: hurr NOTES``: horribly short once more LYRICS``: beer with jesus by thomas rhett CREDIT``: this template was made by the amazing TAYLYNOSAURUS REX! of caution 2.0. if you erase this credit && she finds out then she'll either come && steal all your cookies or send you to the realm of eternal tickling: your choice.[/sub]

Laine wasn't particularly in the mood for conversation, but a nagging awkwardness somewhere within him urged at him to speak. He let the peacefullness of the calm the nag and simply rested without another look at her. A couple speckles in the water led to ripples floating outward, crashing into the disturbing tidals her horses and dogs were causing. He watched the conflict of the waves. A sudden sharp seering noise sprung him from his daze. Her whistling, what a shreik. His eyes glanced over and flickered around what she was doing. Maybe she was leaving, that was a quick dip. The nagging was back. She seemed so much more at ease when they hardly acknowledged one another.
However, against his better judgment, Laine turned his head toward her and watched for a minute. The dogs amused him for only milliseconds before they flashed back to her. Suddenly a random though blindsighted him. Swimming. Here and Now. This is how Laine often got in trouble, these sudden urges. He hardly had the control to resist them. Glancing down at the water, impossibly trying to judge the temperature with his eyes. He chuckled only quietly to himself. Eyes back up at her, he watched her for signs of leaving. Polite, or not to be polite. It was the ultimate question. He figured she didn't want his company any way, and he was there first. She seemed to have better things to do, with more company. He looked at her face, and asked loudly enough to get his voice across, but not sternly to be impolite. "You staying long? I was thinking about swimming.."
It was a matter of fact statement, said in that exact tone. It wasn't impolite, just stated. He kept his eyes on her, until he could get some kind of response, verbal or physical.
